Wednesday 11 May 2022 – Registration and Welcome Cocktail Reception, Amathus Beach Hotel
On the first day, following registration you will have the opportunity to join the Welcome Cocktail Reception which will take place at the Blue Breeze Terrace of the Amathus Beach Hotel.
Thursday 12 May 2022 – Opening Ceremony, Light Networking Lunch & Guided Tour of Nicosia
FIEC guests will have the opportunity to visit the THOC Theatre Building in Nicosia, a dazzling new building where each year a plethora of theater events and performances are hosted. The theatre building features two auditoriums, the main stage, Evis Gavrielides auditorium, and the new stage.
Following the completion of the Opening Ceremony, FIEC guests will enjoy a networking lunch. To follow, guests will have the opportunity to join a guided walking tour of Nicosia passing by from various landmarks of the capital including the UN Buffer Zone also called the ‘Green Line’, a reminder that Nicosia is the only city in Europe which remains divided after the Turkish invasion of 1974.
Thursday 12 May 2022 – Traditional dinner, Evagoras Lanitis Center, Limassol
The day will conclude with a traditional dinner in the heart of the old town of Limassol, at the Evagoras Lanitis Center one of the largest industrial buildings in Cyprus. The location of the Center is unique as it is situated between the Medieval Castle and the New Limassol Marina. In the center, is the Carob Mill Museum where FIEC guests will have the opportunity to walk through the museum.
Friday 13 May 2022 – Guided Tour to Omodos Village for Accompanying Persons
Accompanying persons will discover the legends and the history of Omodos village, one of the most beautiful areas in Cyprus. First stop will be at a local winery on the outskirts of Limassol, where participants can take part in an organized wine tasting program. This guided tour will include visits to the village of Omodos, which is famous for its true Cypriot architecture and the monastery of the Holy Cross. The tour will finish with lunch at a traditional Cypriot Tavern.
